If you've visited our shop before, you may notice that the prices of our pieces have changed recently. After many years of trying to absorb the rising cost of silver, we've had to put our prices up. The cost of making silver jewellery has jumped (and by heaps!), basically due to the market price of silver. In the last 6 years, the price of silver has increased 7-fold (that's 600%!). In the last year alone, silver has doubled in price.

The bright side is that hand-crafted, well-made pieces of silver jewellery are finally starting to develop a real value. Just as with gold, a piece of well-made sterling silver jewellery will last you a lifetime (at a fraction of the cost) - and hopefully, a little increase in price will start to alert the world to just what a beautiful metal silver is (did I mention we love silver?).
